The HR specialist will work closely with Kablamo’s leadership group. Our leadership group comprises two Co-CEOs, COO, Regional Leads and Technical Leads. Together, the leadership group is responsible for the strategic direction of Kablamo, for attracting and retaining the best talent in our industry and for guiding our journey to greatness.

Develop and implement best practice HR frameworks at Kablamo, covering areas such as people development, diversity strategies, training, career paths, renumeration approach, background screening, performance management, staff ownership programs and more
Create a completely awesome Kablamite benefits program
Help Kablamo establish customs and support frameworks to ensure our values are instilled into all parts of life at Kablamo
Support leaders to develop and roll out programs to help with hiring, onboarding, team development, designing and delivering learning programs, individual growth and development, performance and HR issues
Guide and coach leaders on the full gamut of HR issues (hiring and talent planning, performance management, compensation & rewards etc.).
Work closely with the Co-CEOs and senior leadership team to gain a deep understanding of business goals and priorities, ensuring that we have the right talent in place to achieve them.
Drive high performance, proactively driving strategies to increase engagement and retention
Assist with rollout and support for technical certification programs
Handle sensitive issues and be a trusted advisor.
Kablamo is growing fast and hiring lots of fantastic new team members! The HR specialist will be responsible for end-to-end Talent Acquisition for Kablamo, including:
Developing job descriptions, renumeration strategies, posting open positions online
Managing external recruitment partners
Where appropriate, proactively searching for top talent in market to fill open roles
Co-ordinating interviews and conducting initial screening/interviews
Supporting and co-ordinating the on boarding of new staff, including liaising with new starters upon offer of employment; producing and sending contracts of employment; requesting references; co-ordinating the set up of new starters on our systems, and arranging new starter inductions.
Required Skills and Experience
At least 3 years experience as a HR Generalist and/or Business Partner in the technology industry
Specific experience in Talent Acquisiton is also very well regarded
Demonstrated understanding about how to build amazing and unique team cultures
Some prior experience in technology is critical — you can talk the talk with developers, product managers, engineers and designers
You’ll have incredible organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to balance the big picture with getting the important things right.
You demonstrate a high degree of judgement and can juggle a diverse range of priorities — a standard day could involve supporting someone with parental leave questions, planning a team event, and rolling out a new onboarding program.
Can balance working individually and autonomously with working in and alongside a range of teams — you’re comfortable being part of a team, leading projects, or owning things; whatever the job calls for!
