In this role, you will participate in the holistic design thinking across the application(s). You will take the appropriate steps, while working with the Product Design Lead, to define a hypothesis based on user and business needs; user research, moodboards, sketches, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and UX/UI documents.

Balance User needs, Business goals and Technical feasibility with a bias for User Centric Design.
Translate concepts into wireframes and mock-ups, leading to intuitive user experiences.
Facilitate product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for digital products.
Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock ups optimised for a wide range of devices, interfaces and platforms.
Lead UX workshops with clients, as required, providing consultancy, and following best practice and techniques.
Consistently deliver user-centric concepts and design, with rapid design testing and iterations.
Efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, well thought-through and human-centred.
Present UX concepts and designs to internal and client stakeholders, and iterate as required.
Create and deliver all required User Experience and Interaction Design Documents.
Consistently collaborate with internal teams of designers, developers, QA, as well as external client stakeholders.
Collaborate with other Kablamo designers to exchange knowledge and foster a vibrant and healthy design practice

Required skills and experience:
3+ years UX/UI design experience, designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
Able to demonstrate conceptual thinking and creative problem solving.
Portfolio of work that balances compelling, yet simple design, with analytical thinking and precise execution.
Understand and utilise user experience best practices, principles and techniques.
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Able to work as a self-starter, while also being willing to raise issues and seek support as needed.
Experience creating for multiple mobile devices and platforms, working directly with developers for design implementation.
Proficiency designing with Sketch and InVision (desirable: Photoshop, Illustrator)
Desire to work in a start-up style, nimble environment, where iteration is encouraged.
Desirable skills and experience:
Experience in product development – influencing product strategy and the direction of product development
Manage relationships with clients, vendors and partners
2 years or more experience in the online media industry, banking and fintechs or enterprise CMS usage.
Developing branding guidelines or strategies
Graphic design skills either making icons or full illustrations
